Horus the God of the sky was symbolised as the Falcon, he was one of the most adorned and worshipped Gods of ancient Egyptian times. He came to be regarded as Horus in living times and Osiris in death. He became a key part of the Osiris myth by being rival to Set, the murderer of Osiris.
Our homage to Horus in life was to create a stunningly detailed necklace of a peregrine falcon in majestic golden metallic acrylic with a translucent ruby red inlay representing the sun adorning his head. His claws detailed with scales in black airbrushed detail clasp more translucent red balls representing the stars he was born of.
The genuine black leather braided cord is threaded through hand bent detailed loops which are unique in themselves and finished with golden caps and magnetic clasps.
The corded chain measures 45cm or 18in making sure the piece sits high up on the chest.
